Rotary Peace Fellows are leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict throughout their lives, in their careers, and through service activities. Fellows can earn either a master’s degree in international relations, public administration, sustainable development, peace studies, conflict resolution, or a related field, or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict resolution. Fellows study at one of six Rotary Peace Centers at leading universities in Australia, England, Sweden, Japan, the United States and Thailand. The fellowship offers tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation and internship/field study expenses.

Award / Eligibility Details:

An ideal candidate for the Rotary Peace Fellowship has experience working in peace and conflict resolution or a related field (either volunteer or paid), high academic marks in post-secondary education, experience in leadership roles, expresses clear goals for the fellowship and the future, and has international experience. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant work experience for the master’s degree. At least five years of relevant work experience for the professional development certificate. Must hold a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must apply for the fellowship through a Rotary district. Applicants should contact their local club by searching at www.rotary.org/clublocator.
