Return to Fellowship SearchPrinceton in Asia sponsors over 150 fellowships and internships in 20 countries and is the oldest and largest organization of its kind. The essence of PiA is to provide transformative, service-oriented experiences for bright, talented graduates and to serve the needs of Asia as determined by our host institutions and Asian partners. PiA arranges fellowships and internships with Asian host organizations in the fields of education, health, international development, environmental advocacy, journalism, engineering, technology, law and business. Fellowships are the means of fostering person-to-person diplomacy, enhancing mutual understanding, serving vulnerable communities with unmet needs and providing transformative experiences for fellows and host communities.
Award / Eligibility Details:
Princeton in Asia applicants are generally college seniors or recent graduates. Successful applicants must have their bachelor’s degree by the July before the fellowship starts. Candidates with master’s degrees (no professional degrees) will be considered, especially for non-teaching posts. English teaching positions require native English speaking ability.
Asian language ability is not a prerequisite for most positions. Non-teaching positions typically require some language skills or specific academic or work experience. All applicants MUST be able to attend one of the interview sessions in January and early February. Interview will be located at Princeton University as well as in select cities on the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast
