National Forum for Black Public Administrators Scholarship Program

The National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) Scholarship Program is designed to recognize African-American or minority students who are currently enrolled full-time at a college or university who exemplify outstanding scholarship, and leadership, particularly as related to public service. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply. NFBPA supports over 12 college students each year, with annual scholarships totaling more than $45,000 through partnerships with corporate supporters, public sector organizations and individual contributors.

Award / Eligibility Details:

The NFBPA Scholarship Program has multiple scholarships for students to apply for and each has their own specific eligibility requirements. Some general requirements include: be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited institution, working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in public administration, political science, urban planning, public policy, business administration or a related field; have a 3.0 or better grade point average (on a 4.0 cumulative scale); and have at least one full semester remaining after May of the year of application and be enrolled in the upcoming Fall semester.
