    Hope Reichbach Fund

    Return to Fellowship Search

The Hope Reichbach Fund provides vital learning experiences and career development for underprivileged college students, inviting them into a network centered on Hope Reichbach’s memory and values of active leadership and communal responsibility. The Hope Fund provides stipends for students who take traditionally unpaid internships in civic leadership and grassroots community organizing in the borough of Brooklyn. Students who apply for the fund do so with the understanding that their acceptance to the program is based on the assumption that they will secure an internship before the summer begins. Students may apply without an internship set up, and the Hope Reichbach Fund will do their best to make introductions and suggestions to secure an internship.

    Award / Eligibility Details:

To apply for the Hope Reichbach Fund, applicants must: be a resident of New York City; be a freshman sophomore or junior in college; demonstrate financial need; and be available in the summer full time for 10 consecutive weeks. Each student will receive $300 per week of full time work. Internships must run between 8-12 weeks long, which approximates to $3000 for the length of their summer internship.
