    Harvard Summer Venture in Management

    Return to Fellowship Search

The Harvard Business School (HBS) Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP) is a one week management training program for rising college seniors designed to increase diversity and opportunity in business education. An annual event at HBS, this unique educational experience helps participants develop a broader understanding of the challenges business leaders face, the many dimensions of the business world, and the impact they can have on their community and the world through business leadership. SVMP participants must be employed in a summer internship and be nominated by and have sponsorship from their company or organization to attend. Sponsoring organizations can include public or private companies, government agencies or entities, and non-profit organizations. In addition, applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents, and must be rising college seniors who have completed their junior year of college by June 2013. Participants will be selected based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and personal characteristics.
