German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) RISE Professional Research Internships
Return to Fellowship SearchRISE Professional – Research Internships in Science and Engineering – gives recent graduates, Master and PhD students in the fields of biology, chemistry, engineering, geology and physics a unique opportunity to gain practical, career-building experience working in a German company for the summer. RISE professional internship placements provide students the opportunity to live and work in an international context, to gain confidence in their practical and professional skills, and to improve their German. Last but not least, the internship should be a source of mutual cultural and professional enrichment for both the interns and their host companies. Undergraduates who are RISE alumni or former DAAD scholarship holders are also invited to apply.
Award / Eligibility Details:
Recipients receive a monthly stipend, a travel allowance and health insurance and accident and personal/private liability insurance. Foreign nationals may be eligible to apply if they have been full-time students at an American or Canadian university for at least one year at the time of application.
