The American Political Science Association Diversity Fellows Program is designed primarily for students applying to enter a doctoral program in Political Science for the first time. Awards are based on the students’ undergraduate course work, GPA, GRE scores, extracurricular activities, and recommendations from political science faculty. Twelve stipend scholars are designated each year and receive a $4,000.00 fellowship on the condition that students remain in good academic standing.

Award / Eligibility Details:

Applicants must be undergraduate seniors, recent graduates, or other individuals (including students in terminal MA programs) in the process of applying for PhD programs in political science. Applicants must be a US citizen, US national, US permanent resident (holder of a Permanent Resident Card), or an individual granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA) at the time of application.
