Return to Fellowship SearchThe American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) is one of the oldest and most respected nonpartisan economic research and advocacy organizations in the country. AIER is dedicated to developing and promoting the ideas of pure freedom and private governance by combining advanced economic research with accessible media outreach and educational programming to cultivate a better, broader understanding of the fundamental principles that enable peace and prosperity around the world.
As a paid intern at AIER, you will work closely with staff on projects relating to your interests. During your 10-12 week internship, your skills can be applied to scholarly research, program/event planning, marketing, graphic design, communications, editorial writing, and development/fundraising. Internships are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters and over the summer.
Award / Eligibility Details:
Candidates need to be graduate or rising senior undergraduate students age 21 and over majoring in economics, finance, business or related fields. Foreign nationals are welcome to apply if they are enrolled in a U.S. degree granting institution, have CPT or OPT, or have employment authorization in the United States.
AIER interns are paid $15 per hour. Interns reside on campus at AIER in Great Barrington, MA. Participants living further than 300 miles from Great Barrington, MA will be reimbursed for travel up to $750.
